By accessing or using Curiosity Engine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Curiosity Engine is an AI-powered sales productivity tool that provides:

  • LinkedIn profile analysis and insights
  • AI-generated email drafting and sending capabilities
  • Integration with Gmail and Outlook for email automation
  • Chrome extension for browser-based functionality
  • CRM integration capabilities

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

  • Create an account by signing in with Google or Microsoft
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. OAuth and Email Permissions

By granting OAuth permissions to Curiosity Engine, you authorize us to send emails and create drafts on your behalf through the Gmail API or Microsoft Graph API. You acknowledge that:

  • Emails are only sent when you explicitly click "Send"
  • You are responsible for the content of all emails sent through our Service
  • You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings
  • We do not read your existing emails without explicit permission

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited emails, or violate CAN-SPAM Act
  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Scrape or extract data from LinkedIn or other platforms in violation of their terms
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access the Service's source code
  • Use the Service for competitive analysis or to build a competing product

6. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses AI to generate email content and LinkedIn analysis. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before sending
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of AI-generated content
  • You retain ownership of content you create using our Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Curiosity Engine and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Salesforce, HubSpot, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Payment and Subscription

If applicable:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CURIOSITY ENGINE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Curiosity Engine from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
